This is a drawing that I did for a drawing competition a couple of years ago. I thought it turned out well even though I didnt win. I have been cleaning up my computer and consolodating all the files. I found this and I figured I would upload it here. It was done on pencil and bristol board.

 Must have taken a lot of time, it's got plenty of detail. I liked how you managed the different intensities of light on the rocks, and the plants and castle, really impressive work

Since it was done a year ago I think that now I would have used a model for the drawing and a bit more photo reference. but that is all about the learning process

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
